Sock Monkey says: Carter is thiiiiiiiiiis tall!On July 16th, Carter turned two months old. It was a busy day. First, we took him to see Dr. Dahl, and he was weighted (12 pounds, 4 oz) and measured (24 1/2 inches) . We found out Carter is in the 90th percentile for height and 75th percentile for weight. Then, he was given 5 immunizations. He did well overall, much better than his mommy! He cried for a few minutes and then settled down. He was a little cranky during the day and that evening, but not too bad. By Thursday, he was back to himself.
Later in the day, we received a phone call from our daycare provider. We searched high and low to find Linda, a retired ECE instructor who has an in-home daycare. Unfortunately, her father has terminal cancer and she is moving to California to take care of him. So, Dave and I (adrenaline running) spent the day trying to find daycare within THREE WEEKS of going back to work. We are so thankful that Carter will only need to be in daycare 3 1/2 days a week, but it's still not easy. It's been a stressful few days, but we have two prospects and will make a decision on Monday. We are saying a prayer that Carter will be in a good, safe and loving environment while we return to work.
