Now that I am OBVIOUSLY pregnant, I have become subject to some of the most surprising questions from clients, coworkers and strangers alike. I am attempting to keep my sense of humor, though I do have some smart @$$ comebacks.
Here are some of my favorites so far.....
Q: "Are you cookin' somethin'?" -client
A: "Cooking? You mean, for dinner?"
Q: "Are you expecting?" -coworker
A: "I am always expecting something"
Q: "So, are you going to quit now?" -coworker
A: "Would you ask me that if I were a man?"
Q: "Are you going to make that baby pop out lifting those weights?" -stranger at the gym
A: "No. Not today."
